Mark Piebenga is an actor and teacher based in Chicago. He can be seen onstage at iO Theater with the Hague, Annoyance Theater with TNT and the Bughouse Theater in a two-person show with his brother Scott called Piebenga Plumbing. He survived over a year and half of the Second City Touring Company alongside ignorant mongrel Tim Stoltenberg. Deepest thanks to Greg, Jack, and the wonderful cast and crew of Couchsurferz.
Tim Stoltenberg is an alumni of Second City’s Touring Company. He also performed in other Second City shows here in Chicago, Cincinnati, and Atlanta. Tim is a member of The Improvised Shakespeare Company and performs with Summer Nights both at iO Theatre. Tim lived in Atlanta, GA before coming to Chicago, where he worked with Dad’s Garage Theatre.
Dean Evans is a professional actor, comedian, and writer. He is currently developing an original independent series based called Dean Is. He is featured in the Onion’s “Tough Series” and will make his feature film debut this winter in Dig Two Graves. He has performed with iO, Second City, the Goodman, Kapoot theater, Redmoon, Chicago Children’s Theater, Collaboraction, the Actor’s Gymnasium and as a solo artist. He also performs as an entity who simply goes by Honeybuns.
Barry Hite has performed sketch and improv at Chicago Sketch Fest, Just For Laughs, iO, UCB, and Rahm Emanuel’s inauguration. He is a writer for the Second City Network and served as both a staff and contributing writer for the Onion’s live sketch show – “Onion: Live!”. His first one-man show, So Very Important, was a Time Out Critics Pick and has been performed in both Chicago and Los Angeles. His second one man show “Charisma Machine” did all that other stuff too. Through the magic of television and the Internet he has sold coffee, air conditioning and hot wings to many fine folks. Select credits include: Family Tree House Boat Accident, DBaG, and Holy F#ck Comedy Hour. He is alum of the Second City Touring Company. Barry hopes to write, direct and act in a variety of media, until the world is so completely saturated with his point of view that he has to retire to New Zealand, which is supposed to be a very nice place to live.
Jack Hickey – Alfred Doolittle – was seen here last season as Lickcheese in Widower’s Houses. Other ShawChicago credits include roles in, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, Androcles and the Lion, Candida, The Philanderer, The Doctor’s Dilemma, The Apple Cart, John Bull’s Other Island. Jack is the Artistic Director of Oak Park Festival Theatre.
T. J. Jagodowski is an American comedian, actor, and improvisational performer who lives in Chicago. He has been a member of The Second City as well as a performer and teacher at iO, formerly known as “Improv Olympic”. He has appeared in movies such as Oz: The Great and Powerful, Stranger Than Fiction, The Ice Harvest, No Sleep Till Madison, and the television show, Prison Break. He is most recognizable from the long-running series of improvised Sonic Drive-In commercials featuring himself and Peter Grosz.
Stephanie Jones, a Boston native, moved to Chicago four years ago exactly for opportunities like this. She has trained at iO Chicago and can be seen improvising with The Late 90s (iO) and The Night Shift (The Playground). Outside of performing, Steph is currently pursuing a M.S. in Speech, Language, and Learning at Northwestern University. She thinks the cast and crew of Couchsurferz are tops and feels really lucky to have worked with them.
Alex Moffat hails from the Chicago suburbs. He likes to perform at The Annoyance, iO, The Second City, The Comedy Bar, The Public House Theater, Zanies and other great places. He also does standup around town and in-game entertainment for the Chicago Bulls. He has two films coming out this year, Uncle John and A Conspiracy at Jekyll Island, and he’s creating a tv pilot called EL Show. He’s also certified to officiate weddings, so let him know.
Anthony Oberbeck has been writing and performing comedy in Chicago since 2007. Since then he has improvised at the iO Theater with the teams Hunter Family Crest, Stuntman CD-ROM, and Attica, and was a regular writer and performer in the weekly Annoyance Theater sketch show The Holy Fuck Comedy Hour.
